History (Career & Personal)

• IGN comes from his Korean name Sung Yeonho.
• His original IGN was “Aki no Ki”, which means “autumn tree” in Japanese. “Autumn tree” comes from the Chinese anime “The King’s Avatar”.
• Started playing League in Season 4 when he was 13. He had seen his brother play it when he was in 6th grade, though he didn’t play that much until freshman year of high school.
• His first one trick was Tryndamere or Vayne. The first champ he ever played was Tryndamere.
• He joined TL Academy after Scouting Grounds 2020, and received a lot of advice from CoreJJ since then.

Personality, Hobbies, Interests

• Used to like BTS a lot in high school, but has branched out more now.
• Likes artistic things, wanted to be an actor at some point.
• Really enjoys listening to music. He doesn’t have a playlist, but he has 6 different YouTube accounts that autoplay different genres of music, and he’ll switch between them depending on what he feels like listening to. He listens to cpop, jpop, kpop, English music, rock. In summer 2024, he said he has a playlist he describes as “I will not back down”.
• Likes anime-styled art.
• His favorite animes are Blue Lock, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and The King’s Avatar.
• Likes the song Beautiful Mistakes by Maroon 5.
• Claims he can cook following recipes, though CoreJJ doubts that.
• Favorite off-meta champions are Kindred and Taliyah.
• Favorite skin is SSG Taliyah.
• Yeon says he was not good in school and didn’t really have a favorite or best subject. He did take art class in freshman year but “sucked a**” at it, in his own words. He took AP Bio in high school but remembers nothing. He would have been an undecided major in college if he hadn’t gone pro.
• Yeon was known in 2023 for having difficulty sleeping. He often didn’t get enough sleep. He supposedly improved on this.
• In 2023 he said that he has always been a dog person, but recently in the past year or two he has been more into cats and wants a cat that’s like a dog.
• He didn’t play any sports growing up, but he likes running.
• He says he was hyper and annoying as a kid, but toned down as he grew up.

Connections

• He still considers himself very close to Eyla, his support during his TL Academy years.

Misc Fun Facts

• Nationality is Korean-American.
• Speaks Korean, improved his fluency significantly during 2023 thanks to communicating with Korean players on TL. He didn’t know any of the Korean numbers at first, which CoreJJ realized because he would say things like “combo in 2 seconds” and Yeon wouldn’t understand. Yeon knows the numbers now.
• He thinks the best champ to climb with is Samira.
• He has a habit of blocking people who type a lot. During a pause, he can hear the chat sound, so he decided to block APA.
