TSW Eddie: “This time, I want to prove all of them wrong. LCP is a region that people have to watch out for.”
Q: Have you gotten a sense of how you and Bie are as a bot lane, compared to the other top duos?
Eddie: This MSI will be my third international event, and I have a pretty clear image of what my opponents are like — I think all of the bot laners at this event are very strong opponents. I just have to focus on what I need to do and what I need to know, [so I can] try to bring the best results possible for my region.
Q: Do you have time to watch any of the other regions? Do any teams stand out to you?
Eddie: We do have a lot of free time to research our opponents every time we finish our own training schedule. I don’t think there’s been a lot of change happening between the regions over the past couple of months. I think we all just need to focus on what we’re doing best to achieve the results we want.
Q: Who do you see as the best bot lane duo in the world? What about the best individual ADC?
Eddie: In my opinion, T1 has the strongest bot lane, and if I had to pick one ADC, I think Gumayusi is the best ADC in the world.
Q: LCP fans and players have talked about how the region is being underrated after the end of CFO ’25. Have you noticed this? What do you think?
Eddie: I also think that [we are being underrated]. Aside from CFO, I don’t think the other LCP teams had particularly good international performances last year, so I understand why people think that. But this time, I want to prove all of them wrong: LCP is a region that people have to watch out for.
Q: What’s your favorite food in Vietnam? And what’s your favorite food here in Korea?
Eddie: If you’re visiting Vietnam, I think you should try bánh canh. It’s kind of like pho but with thicker noodles. As for Korea, I’ve always been a fan of Korean barbecue. We had Korean barbecue with kimchi last night, and I really enjoyed it.
Q: How do you feel about the CBLOL, LCS, and LEC? How do you think TSW will fare into them?
Eddie: Personally, I think LCK is the strongest region. As for the other regions, we’ve practiced against them before, and as long as we stick to what we’re doing well and do what we need to do, I think we can compete with them on equal footing.
Q: Is there anything you’d like to say to fans of the LCP?
Eddie: I just want to say, to all the LCP and Vietnamese fans, that we’ll try our best to bring the best results for our region, and we won’t let you guys down.
Q: C9 has a new ADC, Tactical. I’m not sure if you know him, but fans also call him “Eddie,” and you two kind of have similarly hyper-aggressive styles. Are you familiar with him? Are you going to assert dominance over the name “Eddie” moving forward?
Eddie: I watched Tactical about two or three years ago. I already know what he’s like, and I think he’s just a player like anyone else. There’s nothing too special.
