Q: Were you worried about today’s match vs DSG or no?
River: No.
Q: No? Not even a little?
River: Because, usually, we are doing good, but sometimes we are shit. But yesterday’s game, our scrim was good, so I didn’t worry today.
Q: Do you think that if you had rolled the shit version of 100 Thieves, you could have lost to DSG, or do you think you still would have beat them?
River: We could lose, but we’d [probably] still win. [Against DSG is] unloseable, I think.
Q: What do you think the reason for that is? Is it Abbedagge?
River: I don’t think Abbedagge is the problem, but I think DSG has many problems. I feel like they are not [on the] same page. Game 1, [at] first drake, I don’t think they can ever win 4v4. But they’re fighting just like […] “Why are they fighting for this drake?”
Q: You said the scrims yesterday were good. Were you against a good team, or was it a confidence boost against a bad team?
River: It’s not a bad team. They beat us on stage.
Q: If you were to make any changes to the teams that were recently eliminated, what do you think you would do to improve them?
River: For LYON, I’m pretty sure they are good individual players, but their playing is not legal. They’re good, but they are not, like, good. They’re inting so hard on stage. I can feel Oddie’s feelings. Their players [are] inting so hard, and then jungle cannot do anything.
I feel bad for Oddie. [Before Split 1], I thought Oddie was a shit player, but I feel like he’s good. He’s good. So I feel bad for him.
Q: Do you think LYON team is tilting?
River: I think tilting and ego too much, especially… I don’t know. I can’t say, but […] there’s one player…
Q: What about DSG? What do you think their problems are?
River: I think [for] LYON, I know what the problem is, but DSG, they have so many problems. So I can’t figure out [just] one problem.
I think if they wanna win, they should be on the same page, but it looks like they are not on the same page every match. So it’s hard to figure it out.
Q: You said LYON has stronger individual players, then would you agree with most people that DSG has the weakest individual players in the league?
River: In the league? I don’t think weakest, but weaker than [any] other players for sure.
Q: How has the team vibe been? Is there a lot of pressure?
River: No. But for sure, we had pressure, today for sure, but not me. Maybe some players. But, I feel like we still have good vibes on this team.
Q: Do you have any fun stories you wanna share about the team?
River: After we lost to Shopify, and then everyone feels sucks. Right? So we went to karaoke and drank together.
Q: Not Sniper though, right? Did you leave him at home, or did you bring him?
River: Sniper? Sniper went [to] dinner with his friends. And we left to karaoke and drink.
And then after we drank, we forgot we lost to Shopify. And then [everyone sang together].

River: It’s like… a BIGBANG song in Korean. And then we [did] some pop songs, but I don’t know [the names]. […] And FBI was [the] best singer.
Q: What’s your drink of choice?
River: Beer and soju.
Q: Well actually, how far is Sniper from turning 21?
River: It’s, like, two years, I guess. Three? Two?
Q: When Sniper turns 21, are you gonna take him out for a drink?
River: No. [At] that time, I’ll be in military, so I don’t have a choice.
Q: That’s fair. Have you thought more about what your plans are at the end of the year?
River: Yeah. This morning, I saw Deft [went] to the military today. So, after I watched that, I felt so bad. That’s my future, you know?
Q: Do you think you’ll have to go at the end of this year?
River: I think 90%, I have to go.
Q: Do you think Sniper will be able to keep playing without you helping him?
River: Yeah. I think he can improve for sure, except, like, some stupid comms.
Q: Any shit talk for Contractz and SR?
River: Last week, I lost smite fights against him, like, 10 times, I guess? We lost the game, right? But this time, [it’s] gonna be different.
And then also, I lost smite to eXyu today. So, I have to be better [at smiting]. Gonna be a fun game against Contractz.
