- His gamertag “Stixxay” comes from the name of the band he made with his best friend around age 11-12, called “StixNStonez”. Stixxay played the guitar (the stick) and his friend Joe played the drums (the stones).
- Has 2 cats (Nix and Chunk) and 2 dogs (Maya and Bailey).
- When he was young, his first sport was t-ball. His mother says that he was very competitive and looked down on the kids who didn’t play t-ball well.
- Stixxay also played AYSO soccer as a kid, and his mother says he would be confused because he would win first place but losing teams would still also get trophies.
- His mother, Deanna, is very supportive of Stixxay on social media and at his tournaments. She is good friends with other LCS moms, including aphromoo’s mom.
- Before discovering League, he played a lot of World of Warcraft, and started as Horde.

- Got his start in NACS (North American Challenger Series, predecessor of current-day Academy) with Denial eSports in August 2014. He then went to play for C9 Tempest (C9’s NACS team) for a while, but as the support, which he did not find very fun. A connection found him a spot as the AD Carry for CLG Black (CLG’s NACS team) in 2015.
- In June of 2015, Doublelift badly injured his pinky playing basketball, which caused CLG to fly Stixxay in to try out as his substitute. Although Doublelift ended up insisting on playing with a cast on his hand, through those tryouts, Stixxay caught the attention of CLG players and staff, including Zikz, aphromoo, and LiNk. When Doublelift did not re-sign with CLG after 2015, Stixxay was promoted to starting ADC for 2016.
- Stixxay’s biggest achievements continue to be the NA LCS Spring 2016 title as well as placing 2nd at MSI 2016, which he reached in his rookie split.
- Has a similar appearance to PowerOfEvil, to the point there are jokes about them being brothers, twins, or even the same person.
