Started playing League at the end of Season 1. One of his IRL friends introduced him and he ended up becoming obsessed.
Played a lot of table tennis when he was young and said that’s where he got his competitiveness from.
School was “too boring” for him and he wasn’t motivated to do something other than League, so he didn’t know what he would be doing if he wasn’t a pro (as of 2017).
He was scouted by Cloud9 for the 2015 NA LCS season because he was rank 1 in EU Solo Queue.
His IGN when he joined the NA LCS was “Incarnati0n” with the idea that he was coming back, like “reincarnating” after previously getting banned. He ended up disliking the name so he changed it to “Jensen” (his last name) the next year because everyone around him called him Jensen.
In 2018, he said if he could play one champ for the rest of his life, it would be Zed, “because he’s fun and he’s high mechanical and there’s always new cool stuff you can do.” And if he could become a champ, it would be Twisted Fate.
In 2018, he said his ideal retirement location is LA or Spain.
He is color blind. At one point he had red glasses, but he didn’t know they were “red” until people pointed it out. He got LASIK eye surgery and no longer wears glasses.
There was an iconic meme, “Jensen, body these fools” starting in the 2016 LCS season which evolved into “Bodied / Body by Jensen” when Cloud9 made a fake perfume ad with Jensen referencing the meme.
The meme/nickname “Big Bensen” (an image of Jensen’s face photoshopped onto Big Ben) was created by Team Liquid in 2020 as a lighthearted jab at their upcoming opponent Tanner “Damonte” Damonte who was known as “Tanner Time.”
In 2021, Jensen said the player who impacted/helped him the most as competition was Bjergsen and the teammate who impacted him the most was Blaber.
He had the possibility of role swapping to ADC for Team Liquid’s 2022 season when Team Liquid was signing Bjergsen, but this fell through when Team Liquid picked up Hans Sama, leaving Jensen teamless for the spring split. During this time he continued to play League “for at least 12 hours a day.”
Jensen used to hang out with BunnyFuFuu a lot when he was on C9, and said the C9 house felt emptier after he left. He also stayed with Bunny in Vegas while he was teamless in 2022.
He has the record for longest consecutive years attending Worlds (8 years from 2015-2022). This streak ended while he was on Dignitas in 2023.
In 2024, he continues to say that he has the motivation to continue competing in League professionally and has the most fun doing so. He doesn’t believe age affects skill, just changes priorities, and for him he’s still happy playing competitive League. He wants to play for as long as possible.
He wishes he had tried more and pushed himself harder when he was younger- he believes he got complacent when he was better than the competition.
His favorite career moment was winning his first LCS Championship title with Team Liquid in 2019.
