- He has played League since season 1 beta, when he was 9 years old, because his older brother played it. His original IGN (“blaberfish2”) was his brother’s idea and he doesn’t even know why it’s written the way it is, so he’s not bothered when people write his name as “Blabber.”
- He would watch LoL esports as a kid, and his favorite pro player was Doublelift.
- Starting from age 4, he played badminton. He was a badminton player ranked Top 10 in the nation until he was 15. He started to feel demoralized with it as his peers grew taller than him. Then, he quit badminton and started focusing on League seriously.
- He first caught the eyes of Cloud9 when he and top laner Licorice were paired up quite frequently in solo queue. Licorice noted to C9 management that “blaberfish2” in solo queue was cracked, and they seemed to agree.
- C9 drafted Blaber from Scouting Grounds 2017, but with just 6 months left of high school, he decided to finish and graduate from high school before pursuing his dream of becoming an LCS pro. The day after graduating in 2018, he flew out to join Cloud9 and play for their academy roster. That summer, he was called up to the main team as they were struggling, and he helped them make a miracle run to Worlds.
- At the time, Cloud9 was swapping between their 2 junglers, Blaber and Svenskeren. At first, he and Svenskeren didn’t have much “friendly vibes” toward each other. But after a few weeks, they became really good friends and have remained close. Blaber says they have always been super supportive of each other and still talk to this day.
- Known for a very aggressive, fearless, proactive playstyle.
- If he wasn’t a LoL pro, he would be in business school. He actually got accepted into business school at the University of Maryland, but didn’t end up going.
- Sleeps relatively early (11pm-12am ish).
- As of 2021, he says his most expensive purchase was buying a house for his parents.
- If he won the lottery, he would spend it on: House, family, and investments.
- If he was a champion, he would be Wukong “because I’m a monkey.”
- He says his worst habit is inting.
- Prefers to be called Bobby.
- As of 2023, somewhere he wants to go but has never gone is Hawaii (used to be Japan).
