LYON Saint: “I have many favorite webtoons, but I cannot talk about that […] people will think of me as an otaku”

Q: How was that? You almost won game 2?
Saint: Yeah. I think so. Feel like we almost win, but we [did what] is our mistake sometimes — we hit the and just run. And we don’t have a confidence in matching. Like, if we want something, five men should [agree] about it, but always like, “Can we?,” like a split in our five men thinking. […] So difficult for our communication.
Q: How have your English classes been going?
Saint: Oh, I think I got here, and I think [I’m] getting better, but feel like [it’s] not too good. Not enough.
Q: What’s your favorite webtoon? You mentioned last time that you like reading them.
Saint: Surviving the Game as a Barbarian.
Q: That’s your only favorite one? Give me a top 5.
Saint: Uhh…. *hesitates* I have many favorite webtoons, but I cannot talk about that anymore.
Q: Oh, are they inappropriate?
Saint: What? […] No, not that. But, like, if I say a lot of webtoon, people will think of me as an otaku. You know?
Q: Okay, so if we pretend you’re not into webtoons, what else do you like?
Saint: In Korea, my hobby was watching movie and eating delicious food, but now I think I just play other games with Oddie. [I haven’t watched movies here] because if I don’t have VPN, I can’t see Korean subtitles. So I only can watch in English, but that’s hard to me.
Q: Can you make a tier list of LTA mids?

Q: What do you think the top teams do well/better than LYON? Lets start with C9.
Saint: C9 people have good mechanics, and they choose their goals together. Like, they can choose direction in game direction so [much] faster. [In game] they are always baiting, good at baiting [fights]. And they they’re good at fights. Feel like that that makes them strong.
Q: What about 100T?
Saint: Like, I think their entire [strategy] is top counter pick, and the bottom picks Varus, whatever, something. And they’re really good at fighting.
Feel like they are most good at fighting, [better than C9]. But I think their weak point is [they’re] not good at macro or laning. Not too good.
Q: What about FlyQuest?
Saint: I think [Bwipo] is really good at laning and good at macro. So I think he’s their key player. And if he makes tempo, if he’s laning so good and [makes] tempo, they’re really good at using that.
Q: What about TL? How did they win today? What do they do?
Saint: Actually, I think, TL’s key player is APA. Feel like they he can take just casual like [special] picks. Like, game was weird. [They could lock] in Cassio or Ziggs. […] Like, they make us nervous [in draft].
