GEN Duro: “I’ve always thought of Keria as such an amazing player, and today, I expected the match to be very tough.”

Q: How are you feeling after that long series? Are you feeling tired?
Duro: Yeah, it’s late. And then we also won 3-2, and it was such a tough series. But right now, my dopamine is just exploding, so I don’t even care about anything else.
Q: In the past, you said that you felt like you were the Keria of LCK CL. How does it feel getting to beat the real Keria today on the MSI stage?
Duro: I’ve always thought of Keria as such an amazing player, and today, I expected the match to be very tough. And I think I really wanna give myself a pat on the back because I didn’t make too many mistakes, and I think I was able to show my real self during the match, for the most part. So I really want to praise myself for that.
Yeah, I mentioned that I was the Keria of CL before, but that’s because I was in CL back then. And now that I’m in the LCK, I [still] actually think that I’m way behind Keria.
Q: Who’s today’s MVP?
Duro: My answer is Ruler because obviously my other teammates are really good, but I think today’s victory goes to Ruler. Really, most of today’s victory was because we had Ruler on our team.
Q: Who would you trust to save you and hold you up in this situation?

Duro: Chovy. I don’t really necessarily have a reason. I think it’s just my intuition that tells me that Chovy would be the one to hold me up.
Q: Would you rather have five Chovys or one five-year-old Chovy, and why?
Duro: It’s a no-brainer. It’s going to be five Chovys, because the current Chovy has grown so much and so incredibly well that I don’t think he even compares to a baby Chovy.
Q: On your flight here, you said that you would watch war movies and listen to Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain”. Did you actually do this?
Duro: Yes, I did. I definitely did watch the movie, and I also listened to other music, and I finished watching the movie too.
Q: What war movies have you watched? What are your favorite war movies?
Duro: I don’t really have a favorite war movie, but I think what really stuck out to me—my most recently watched war movie—was The Siege of Jadotville.
Q: Who was your favorite player to meet from another region at this event?
Duro: I think out of all the players I met, I would pick Keria as someone that I really enjoyed interacting with outside of the game, but that’s within the region. So outside of our own region, I can only really recall meeting Kael.
