DSG Castle: “The very first time I [was seriously] playing a game, I wanted to be a Hearthstone pro gamer”

Q: How are you feeling on DSG?
Castle: I’m very glad to be here again as a player, and to be here be in LA again. It’s very nice. […] Actually, my first priority was coming back to LA again. Not looking back in Korea. I didn’t even try to find options in Korea. […]
[In the offseason] I wasn’t playing that much League, I was just playing a lot of Lost Ark.
Q: Were you familiar with DSG or Toast before this?
Castle: Actually, the very first time I [was seriously] playing a game, I wanted to be a Hearthstone pro gamer. [But League was] the the only game that I could be a pro. I was practicing for be a Hearthstone pro, but I didn’t have that much talent.
I had just heard about [Toast], but I didn’t know much about him. […] I just reached out to them as a player.
Q: Are you planning on streaming this season?
Castle: I tried it. I tried, but not sure. I can’t guarantee.
Q: Can you tell me your reaction to this art?

Castle fanart by @sakaruii
Castle: I would say, like, that’s actually perfect. You should see the picture, [and compare it to] that drawing. You know what I mean? I don’t know how to say. You should see the the the base picture. […] It’s like just different of color. […] If I was not a pro player, there’s no chance to get that type of fan art. So I’m really appreciative of it, and thank you.
Q: Did you do anything fun in the offseason?
Castle: I went to Taiwan with my family. […] Actually, the weather was not fine. So it was almost like [the plane] can’t fly. But they did it, so I felt like almost died on the plane, it was shaking so hard.
