C9 Blaber: “I think GG are definitely the second best team in the league, but I’m confident against them in the tiebreaker”

Q: How do you feel about C9’s trajectory right now?
Blaber: I feel like we aren’t playing so good recently — I’m not too happy with our play in the last couple of weeks. We’ve been making a lot of careless mistakes + macro has been really bad. It’s something I want to work on.
Q: How have scrims been going?
Blaber: Scrims have been pretty similar the whole split. We haven’t been dominating, but we aren’t losing — like a 55-60% winrate, probably. The worst we do is a 2-3, or a 1-4 on a rare occasion.
Scrims don’t matter that much. GG, for example, are quite weak in scrims. They’re actually not good at all in scrims. They’re worse than us, I’d say — we’re pretty solid. It’s just a lot of limit testing, I wanna make sure we’re playing better going into playoffs.
Q: Speaking of GG, how do you feel about the tiebreaker?
Blaber: I think GG are definitely the second best team in the league, after us. I think that it’s pretty easy to say that. They’re a strong team, but I think they’ll struggle against us in Bo5 and I’m confident in a bo1.
For GG, I think their mid-jg-supp play really well together. It’s mainly that they have really good synergy, they know how to get vision, how to pressure. They play really standard and well, but they don’t have a strong laning phase and we can out-teamfight them.
