100T River: “After Game 1, I said ‘Hey guys, what the fuck are we doing?'”
Q: What went wrong today?
River: So I feel like we’re trying to fix our scrim quality, because it makes [the practice] useless for us. We’ve tried, like, not to fight everything, do macro, do [that] stuff. And then suddenly, I feel like we forgot how to play for fight even when we’re ahead.
Especially Game 1 today, we were really ahead, and our chances [were] really strong in early game, but we didn’t know how to play fight. So after Game 1, I said “Hey guys, what the fuck are we doing? We are really ahead and we have a really good fight comp, but we don’t fight. We don’t go enemy jungle.” So, like, I flamed.
Then Game 2, in early, we have to do many things (I can’t say [everything]) with our comp. But we fucked up a lot early, and then they snowballed us with Renekton power.
It’s like they are just sleeping. We got Lilia ulted. We don’t say anything. Everyone just fell asleep.
Q: So in scrims you’re just trying to calm down but it’s not working?
River: We used to int and lose scrims, but I feel like it shouldn’t happen. And coaches said, and people said, we should fix scrims. And then I stopped int, and this week, in scrims, I played really, really well.
But then one of the players inted a lot still.
Q: One of the players. But we don’t know who?
River: We don’t know. *smiles*. But we’re losing a lot in scrims, even bottom teams. [But] before today, to be honest, I didn’t worry about our stage game because we played well on stage. But after today, I feel like we have to be more serious in scrims. Not [avoiding] fighting, you know? but more serious. Our 1v1 and 2v2 [were] not good, especially, today.
Q: Have you seen LTART?
River: Someone made this, right? It’s pretty cool, I like it.
Q: Inspired said he’s the best jungler in the west. Where would you rank him and Blaber relative to you?
River: I don’t think Blaber is a really good jungler. I think in LTA, first is Inspired, and then Blaber and me. Maybe [with] UmTi, this is top four of jungle. But I don’t think Blaber is a really good level. […] I think Inspired is one of the best. And then I think me and Blaber are number two.
Q: Do you have any shit talk for Dignitas/Sheiden?
River: Sheiden? I don’t think Sheiden is that good. And, I just [have] nothing to say to him. I didn’t even know who he was. Like, before EG Sheiden, I didn’t know who he was.
