100 FBI: “It’s good to get the ints out early, at least for me.”

Q: Rough loss, but what are your thoughts?
FBI: Yeah. I mean, it was pretty rough. Obviously, I made a lot of mistakes, I would say, in the early game. And I think when you’re playing lethality Kalista, you can’t really afford to have those mistakes. The first death to Sej in bot was really troll, and then dying to Sej when we’re back in top lane — [after] we hit the scry and we had vision in top side — there was only one place she could be and dying again to that is pretty unacceptable. It is what it is.
Q: Does losing to FLY concern you for considering yourself the best team in the league?
FBI: No. I mean, obviously, these games do matter, [but] they also don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. I think it only starts being relevant once we start the Bo3s. So, again, it’s good to get the ints out early, at least for me. As long as we just keep making progress as a team, and it’s all about your final form toward playoffs […] later in the season.
Q: Are those the same ints 100T had a problem with before?
FBI: To be honest, I think as a team, we’re generally pretty inconsistent. We’ll have weeks where we can take multiple steps forward in a direction, and then we’re gonna take a couple steps back in areas where we thought we had it figured out. It’s all about, you know, just staying consistent and making sure we’re improving day by day. And, obviously, not running it down on lethality Kalista helps a lot.
Q: Would you consider yourself the best ADC still?
FBI: I would always put myself as the best ADC. That being said, I mean, there’s a lot of talented ADCs, especially Yeon and Massu. [They’re] the two standouts for me personally. They’ve demonstrated a a really good display of skill.
Q: Massu is known for teamfighting while Yeon is known for laning. Where do you sit in your opinion?
FBI: I would say it’s a bit of both, obviously. Hard to say that I did either well in today’s match. But I would say that we’re generally pretty consistent in lane, and I’ll make a couple mistakes from time to time. But I think I would say that I’m pretty well balanced in both areas.
Q: Thoughts on Hena?
FBI: Like I mean, honestly, we haven’t been able to scrim LYON that much, maybe 1 block. Obviously, Hena came from the LCK, although he wasn’t really considered a top tier AD in LCK, years of experience will generally make you a pretty decent player. I think he’s pretty good.
Q: Who would you bet on as the best bottom 4 team?
FBI: Personally, I would put my money LYON, just because I think their carries have shown a better consistency, both in being able to carry and I don’t think they make too many mistakes, at least on stage. It’s generally stable, consistent carries that LYON can win through. They probably have the most potential to break into the top 4, but with that being said, I think any of the bottom 4 honestly can break into the top 4. It just depends on who improves more.
And I’m saying it’s generally pretty stable, consistent carries that LYON can win through. I mean, they’re 2-0 right now. So, yeah, I would say that LYON probably has more potential to break in the top four. But with that being said, you know, I think any of the bottom four honestly can break into the top four. I mean, it just depends on who improves more.
Q: Has the 100T “scrim inters” reputation gone away?
FBI: I would say yes and no. There’s definitely weeks where I would say that we’re pretty consistent, and we generally play well in scrims. We’re being disciplined, you know, trying to do the right thing. And then there’s obviously weeks where that consistency is not there. I think it is what it is. I think it’s something that we are aware is a problem, but, you know, it’s one of those things that’s easy to identify, but a bit harder to fix.
But with that being said, I think, generally when we come onto stage, we cut out a lot of the silly mistakes. Obviously, today was not a good example.
Q: Is there anyone you’d throw under the bus for inting the scrims?
FBI: I’ll have to decline to comment.
Q: Is the team dynamic of Eyla being more reserved while everyone goofs off accurate?
FBI: I think that’s pretty accurate. That’s a pretty good read you’ve got there. Bill is a lot more reserved, and I think he does enjoy our banter as well, but I think he’s more quiet about it. Whenever we’re bantering, you know, or having fun, [I’ll] look a bit to the side, and he’ll have a little smile on his face, enjoying our conversation.
But, yeah, he tends to be a bit more reserved. I think it’s a good mix. It’s a good mix of characters we have for sure, and, I’ve been really enjoying working with the team. […] Honestly, I’m a go with the flow kinda guy. Maybe sometimes I’ll try to rein the team in on stage and during the game. But a lot of the time, if they wanna go for some sort of play, I’m always down as well.
Q: Any fun anecdotes with the team lately?
FBI: Not off the top of my head, but we do go for the team hike in between scrim blocks every day, and that’s that’s been pretty helpful for me. I think it’s been good to get out and get some sunlight here and there, and get a bit of exercise in. I’ve been enjoying that with the team here.
Q: In your view, are the “Sniper always on his phone” allegations true?
FBI: That’s pretty true. After every scrim game, he’ll be straight scrolling onto his phone. I don’t know what he’s looking at on his phone, but he’s always on there. […] It’s not a joke. It starts to become a bit of a serious problem at times, you know? When we have a bad scrim game, and then we’ll be like, “Sniper are you listening?,” and he’s just on his phone, scrolling. But, you know, he’s just a bit of a kid in that way. Bit of a zoomer.
